Thanksgiving: What Is Diane Thankful For?
Our staff here at Care Coalition would love to share some things that we are thankful for leading up to Thanksgiving!
Here are some words from Diane Anderson, our Executive Director.
"I am most thankful and grateful for all the blessings that the Lord has put in my path this year, my beautiful ever growing family here in Las Vegas and Michigan, the wedding of my granddaughter, great friends, community partners that have become friends, and the amazing transformation of so many this year, an openness to love, to reach out to those in need and the lovely acts of kindness that means so much when it’s least expected.
Of course, there were challenges as there are every year, this year no exception but through challenges comes growth, strength, change, resolve, and even loss. Everyone of these at one time or another have touched our lives but it’s how we meet these challenges that makes the difference in our lives and the lives of others. I believe that meeting people where they are, excepting people as they are for who they are, understanding and embracing the differences and uniqueness of how amazing we all are is the best way for all of us to overcome obstacles we face every day. We can do this, but we all need to work TOGETHER to make the biggest impact. This is what CARE Coalition strives for each and every day.
I am so grateful for my staff, loving, caring, faith-filled, opinionated, determined staff who genuinely care about this community. I want to thank all of you for the work you do every day. I also want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for helping me through the challenges that I have faced this year, I couldn’t have done it without you!
Thank you, I am so grateful for all of you and blessed beyond words to be able to continue to work alongside of all of you. Our doors are open and remember you are never alone!!"
