Healing Within Wellness LLC is a passion of mine combining 30 years of clinical medicine and mental health support. In 2019 I was part of cohort 2 in Sonoma Co. to support my local community during the Northern Ca. wildfires. I led the Kincade Evacuation Center at the Petaluma Fairgrounds for the first 19 hours; mostly triaging/ activating the medical dept. I employeed the mind-body medicine techniques I learned and returned several times to give guidance and support to the survivors. I led 4 mind-body medicine small groups that lasted for eight weeks and had 40 overall attendees fall of 2019. I am a retired Ca. EMT (2004-2015) and feel my expertise and skills can be successfully applied to the EMS community who face chronic workplace trauma related exposure.
My Healing Within Show radio talk show on KPCA 103.3FM was from 2017-2020 and focused on resilience strategies and suicide prevention. Each week was different guest and topic to empower and motivate mental health, I loved being on the radio!!!
